The Original Poster Painter Of Bollywood, Prithvi Soni, Is Today One Of The Most Talented Professional Brushmen Of The Country, Whose All Most All The Painting Exhibitions Had Been Inaugurated By The Top Film Personalities. His Latest Solo Exhibition ' Timeless Beauty'- Oil On Canvas, Was Inaugurated By The First Super Star Of Indian Film Industry, Rajesh Khanna, The Bollywood Phenomenon, At Jehangir Art Gallery, While Mrs., Twinkle Khanna Was The Honourable Special Guest.

Exactly matching to his name, Prithvi Soni is The Gold on Earth. Today, he needs no introduction. He is one of the most well established, well known and well reputed Art Designers of Bollywood. Apart from this he is a natural character artist, colourful poster painter, melodious singer with many released music album, and experienced Theatre artist. Naturally he is the head of Soni Film Family, that consist of Mrs. Prithvi Soni, the stage artist, who has contributed a lot for Theatre. His son Akash Soni has the credit of being the leading man of Om Shanti, apart from being the brush artist with brain. His daughter Kavita Soni, is a sweet singer and a smashing Live Show performer.

This artist of brave concepts and strong creative skill, was born on 16th April 1949 in Bahdurgarh, Dist. Rohtak, Haryana. He had a passion for painting from the very beginning. In 1965 he got the training in The Art Of Painting, at Rang Roop Studio, Dallost, Andhra Pradesh. His art and style was groomed by Shri Tilak Raj, Shri Nisar Ahmed Bharti and Show-ways-studio, Dehli in 1966.

The young man with artistic bent of mind, Prithvi Soni, started to paint the posters of his favourite artists like Dilip Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, Raj Kumar, Dharmendra as a hobby .It was Raj Kapoor who gave him the break with assignment of painting the posters of Sangam. This was followed by more and more assignment. He became the most sought after painter amongst the producers, distributors and exhibitors. With the suggestions and blessings of Dilip Kumar he engaged himself in professional artistic works. He stayed to do this with full devotion and dedication. In 1992 he came with his first ever Art Exhibition, at Terrace Art Gallery. Then in 1993 his art Exhibition was inaugurated by Dilip Kumar. After that he had no time to look back. Almost every year he went on showing and selling his Art Works at various Art Places and Galleries. Here is the list of his most successful exhibitions, which brought him right at the peak of popularity .At Chitra Kala Parishad, inaugurated by J.K.Muddul Krishna, Deputy Director of Culture, Govt. of Karnataka, in 1993-94, At Mahalasa Art Gallery, his solo exhibition at was inaugurated by Hema Malini and Dharmendra in 1995. At the same place he participated in three Group Exhibitions. In 1996 his solo Art Exhibition ‘Indian Classic’ was inaugurated by Anil Deshmukh, after the success of his previous exhibition of 1995, which was launched by Pritish Nandy. At Nehru Art Centre, his new show was opened by Subhash Ghai, Bollywood's living legend ,in 1995, in  which Anil Kapoor and Jacky Shroff were Chief Guests.

At the same place his next Exhibition was attended by Shah Rukh Khan. In 2000 his New Art Show was launched by Baldev Khosa, MLA_, Mumbai. His other successful shows of current decade are: In 2002 at Arushi Arts, New Delhi, Durin 2000-2001 at Taj Art Gallery, his Exhibition ‘Devine Beauty’ was roaring success. So was Harmony in 2002, at Anita Art Gallery, New Delhi. One more remarkable Exhibition was opened by Filmstar Shashi Kapoor  in Mumbai, under the title and style of ‘Primary Colour^’. ‘ Colour Of Life^’ is one of the best exhibitions of his life, which was attributed to his Gugu Rang Roop Ji, at Lalit Kala Academy, New Delhi in 2004. He has also so  many group Exhibitions to his credit. Some of these are: At Hong Kong in 1995, Lagoes in 1998, Artist's Centre, Mumbai in 2006, 7th Mumbai's Annual Exhibition and others held at Dusk Hotel, Pali Hill, Bandra Pradeep  Mumbai-2008. The list will never end, it also include many Camps and Art Workshops. He is the life member of Cine & TV Artists Association, Mumbai, Association of Motion Picture & TV Program Producers, Mumbai, Film Writer's Association, Mumbai, Singer's Association, Mumbai, Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai, Artists Centre, Mumbai, and The Bombay Art Society, Mumbai.
